Teen-age [diversification involved]
I remember learning the numbers one to twenty as a child. The numbers thirteen to nineteen had something in common. As a child just learning I never bothered to know what they had in peculiarity I just recited the numbers aloud with my classmates …..13 14 15 16 17 18 19…………
These six numbers are very peculiar in any individual’s life. The six basic years of an individual is the teen-age.
The teen age is the foundation of any individual’s life just as protein is the building blocks of life, an individual’s block starts from the teen age.
The teen age is the transition between childhood and adulthood. It is the stage that bridges the child you were and the man or woman you want to become.
This great transition is an adventurous yet challenging.
According to biology everyone must grow, we don’t wake up one day and see ourselves fully grown. We watch ourselves grow, we watch tiny feet grow into larger ones, as a girl watches her nipples grow into breast and boy watches his voice deepen and so on. While at the growth stage, changes in emotions cannot be avoided. At puberty many teenagers deal with a lot of emotional breakdown, acne and the likes. You discover that the body you had is changing into what it will become. Either we want it or not it keeps rushing.
Teen age is a period when one struggles with one self, different forces tries to pull you apart. You want to be adventurous yet good, you want money yet you want to play, you want a good life yet you want pleasure.
A teenager has to adjust to the new identity of being a young woman or man. The teenager has to grow up willingly or not. The first five years of teen age is used to adjust to the woman or man in you. Filled with emotional changes. Associated with it are discoveries, fun and pain which are inevitable. The discoveries teenagers make will bring pain either you want to admit or not
The teen age is a complicated period with lots of diversification and discoveries. It is the period when an individual discovers his or her own potentials, talents, strengths and weaknesses
As an adult I discover that most of the memories I have now started from my teen age. The teen age is actually the beginning of your independent life. It is the period where you try and stabilize the kind of person you are or want to be. Before the end of one’s teen age you would notice a lot of changes in your personality. The teen age produces 2-4 personalities during the stage and a ready made man or woman at the end of it.
