Good Addictions ?

When the game Temple run started becoming popular, trust me that I had it on my phone.

I was in my final year in the university then , and I played it like anything. Then something led to another and I got over temple run.

Then I learnt about candy crush and I played candy crush like anything. Until one of my classmates then introduced me to Pet rescue ho la la .

By the time I was on pet rescue I had two android phones and I installed the game on my two phones as am waiting for lives on one, then I would play the other.

Viola , I learnt about 4 pics one word and I added it to it.

One of my android phones was just for gaming as I didn't have an extra line to put in it.

I even infested one of my colleagues during my service year with 4 pics one word addiction and we would exchange our phones and help out with difficult levels.

Then one day I had to snap out of my addictions especially for pet rescue. I sadly uninstalled it from my two phones.

We all have our addictions but we must carefully , sieve out the bad ones from the good ones.

Please don't get this wrong, am not saying that playing games is bad o.

But when you notice that you have an activity that isn't all that profitable but just for the mere fact of relaxation and pleasure and its eating up your active periods , please take conscious efforts to take control over it so you can have control over it.

Can you do without your favourite game for a day ?

Can you do without social media for a day ?

Can you do without your favourite drink for a day?

Remember, whatever you don't control will end up controlling you.
